With a fresh set of features and host of tweaks, the 2021 Skoda Superb has hit the showrooms in India. The updated premium saloon from the Czech automaker is offered in base SportLine (Rs 31.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi) and top-spec Laurin & Klement trim (Rs 34.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi). The inside of the bonnet sees no mechanical change.
The 2.0L turbo-petrol drivetrain is coupled to a 7-speed DCT, which outpours 188bhp and 320Nm of max power and peak torque respectively.

Fresh Lighting Layout
On the outside, a new set of adaptive LED headlamps now conquer the frontage with sleek appearing LED DRLs. In addition to the LED side blinkers, it now receives the ‘coming/leaving home’ function as well. The integrated dynamic lighting system comes with four modes namely City, Inter-City, Rain, and Motorway. Other lighting system features include adaptive headlamp inclination, headlamp swivelling, along with ER cornering functions.
Updated Cabin Elements
The capacious interior of the 2021 Superb L&K top-spec trim is endowed with a piano black trim with stone beige and coffee brown perforated leather upholstery. The high-end trim of the Superb is adorned with a premium-looking, stylish new two-spoke steering wheel. Whereas, the Sportline trim flaunts carbon trim and a newly designed 3-spoke steering wheel with flat-bottom and paddle shifts. The Sportline model also features integrated headrests equipped black Alcantara sports seats inside.
New Infotainment System
The plush cabin of the new Superb is studded with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit. The updated Amundsen infotainment supports integrated navigation support without SD card. The feature of SmartLink with voice prompt control permits the driver to wirelessly connect the device to the multimedia system. Other elements comprise of Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Bluetooth, wireless charging and USB Type C ports.
Additional Features In The L&K Trims
Besides the Coffee Brown and Stone Beige leather upholstery, the Superb L&K also adorns ‘Laurin & Klement’ inscription on the seats, 360-degree surround view, and park assist. The advance park-assist feature helps in a perpendicular parking spot, which makes parking in tight location trouble-free. The Superb sedan can be parked in crowded streets effortlessly as it requires space of mere 60cm longer than the car when parking parallel.
