Know the exceptionally amazing features of Hyundai Alcazar that are not offered in its key rivals, New Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.
Hyundai unveiled the Alcazar 3-row SUV on June 18, 2021. New Hyundai Alcazars is based on the modified Creta platform and will compete against Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. The SUV is priced between Rs 16.30 lakh and Rs 19.84 lakh for the gasoline version, and between Rs 16.53 lakh and Rs 20 lakh for the diesel version.
There are two engine choices available for Hyundai Alcazar buyers – a 159PS, 2.0L petrol engine and a 115PS, 1.5L diesel engine. There are two transmission options on offer – a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. There are 10 features that Hyundai Alcazar comes equipped with, making it a better buy than its key rival, MG Hector Plus and Tata Safari. Let us know them all.
1. Drive Rear-View Monitor
The feature allows the driver to keep an eye on traffic coming from the rear on the touch screen. The rear parking camera behaves differently in this model because it displays rear parking data in the infotainment screen without moving the car into reverse gear.
2. Fully Digital Instrument Console
Its rivals have a 7-inch instrument console with an analogue speedometer instead of the Hyundai Alcazar’s 10.25-inch digital instrument console.
3. Seatback Table
The front seats of Alcazar have a seat back table for the back seats. Moreover, these tables are equipped with retractable cup holders.
4. Rear Sunshade
In the Hyundai Alcazar, the rear occupants have access to a sunshade as standard. By manually operating these shades, passengers can avoid glare and heat from the sun.
5. Paddle Shifter
The Alcazar SUV features a paddle shifter as standard equipment on the automatic variant. This feature makes driving enjoyable and exciting. A variety of modes and traction control is also offered on the SUV.
6. Air Purifier with AQI Display
AQI index should decline as soon as air quality improves when the AC is switched on. AQI display is mounted on the centre console of the SUV, which has a factory-installed air purifier. As soon as the driver starts AC, the AQI index will decrease as the air quality improves.
7. Blindspot Monitor
Alcazar has a camera mounted on the side. In the case of turning ON the turn signal, the projected camera feed appears on the instrument console, informing the driver of a blind spot. This is a useful feature that simplifies lane changes and reduces accidents.
8. 64 Colour Ambient Lighting
The MG Hector Plus is equipped with an 8-colour ambient lighting system, whereas the Tata Safari has mood lighting. On the other hand, the Hyundai Alcazar offers 64-colour ambient lighting. A user can adjust lighting settings from the infotainment system.
9. Floor-Mounted Second-Row Centre Console
Two captain chairs are found in the second row of the Alcazar. This model boasts an integrated armrest, cup holders, and storage space in the centre console. Other competitors do not have access to this feature.
10. Wireless Smartphone Charger Second Row
The SUV will also get a segment-first wireless smartphone charger for the second-row occupants. This feature is only available in the 6-seater version of Alcazar.
