Gaining traction for all right reasons, Kia Sonet ticks all the right boxes concerning looks, features, cabin convenience, and vast drivetrain options.     The large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system sits amid the instrument cluster panel. The sub-4-metre SUV receives display layout similar to the one found in big brother Seltos’ cabin.     A first in the segment, Kia Sonet will be equipped with a 1.5L diesel engine that has the choice of a 6-speed AT (torque convertor). Its 6-speed manual gearbox version offers 100PS of power, while in automatic version it gets power output of a good 115PS. Although Sonet rivals do offer an automatic variant with their diesel engine but in the form of AMT – which will not be as smooth as the Sonet’s offering. This feature is offered in Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta SUVs.

    GT Line Trim

    Kia India will introduce Sonet in two variations – Tech Line and GT Line. The Tech Line will consist of regular trims, while the GT Line trims will seize sportier appeal in the exteriors and interiors. As per the sources, GT Line variants will be accessible in a solo top-spec variants of the 1.0L turbo-petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. Moreover, the 1.2L petrol engine will be dedicated to the Tech Line trim.
