- The Mahindra Bolero Neo is the facelifted Mahindra TUV300.

- It is expected to employ a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Mahindra & Mahindra will reportedly launch the new Bolero Neo in India on July 15, 2021. Mahindra’s Bolero Neo will be positioned between its TUV300 and XUV500 and will be available in two trims.
Internet users have been able to view several spy shots of Bolero Neo. Observations indicate that the updated SUV will be getting redesigned front and rear end with LED DRLs, a revised grille and a restyled bumper. The alloy wheels have been redesigned as well. The rear has largely been left untouched. The spare wheel is still mounted on the tailgate.
There are quite a few updates to the Bolero Neo’s exterior to improve its appeal to consumers. New features include a re-styled front fascia boasting a 6-slat grille, an updated headlamp design, a new bumper housing fog lamps, and new wheel designs. Except for the bumper, the rear of the TUV300 appears to be similar to the outgoing model. It has the same wraparound tail lamps and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
The spy shots also reveal that inside the Bolero Neo you will find a dual-tone colour scheme, making the bag look less utilitarian. The centre console comes with a touchscreen infotainment head unit. The touchscreen infotainment system seems to have been carried forward from the Mahindra TUV300. The multi-function steering wheel might have additional controls now.
A mHawk100 diesel engine is expected to power the Bolero Neo. In the new Bolero Neo, a 1.5-litre diesel engine rated at 100bhp and 240Nm should be offered, complying with BS-6 emission standards. An automatic transmission will also be available for the SUV in addition to its standard manual transmission.
The Mahindra Bolero Neo price in India might be in the range of Rs 9 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). As a result, it will compete with cars like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Tata Nexon.
