New Maruti Celerio

For a price ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 11,000, Maruti shops are now accepting unofficial bookings for the new Celerio. The second-generation hatchback will be introduced on November 10th.

Instead of the current Celerio’s boxy, tall-boy stance, the new model has a curved design. It boasts a slightly tapered roofline with droplet-shaped headlights, strong bumpers, and a hunkered-down rear design. On the top-of-the-line versions, blacked-out alloy wheels, electronic ORVMs with turn indicators, fog lights, rear wiper and washer, and an integrated roof spoiler will be standard.

A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the Wagon R’s semi-digital instrument cluster, steering wheel-mounted music controls, and a rear parking camera will all be standard in 2019 Celerio. Dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution, and rear parking sensors will all be standard.

The 2021 hatchback is expected to come with two petrol engines: a 68PS 1.0-liter engine and an 83PS 1.2-liter engine, both with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmissions. A CNG mill might be added to the 1.0-liter engine.
