Moreover, the AMT paired trim VXI AT is tagged at Rs 9.36 lakh and ZXI AT gets a price label of Rs 10.13 lakh, while the sole CNG powered VXI variant is priced at Rs 8.95 lakh.

The engine that powers the Ertiga is a very refined 1.5L, 1462cc K1B Smart Hybrid petrol unit. The powertrain generates a maximum power of 77kW at 6000rpm and peak torque output of 138Nm at 4400rpm. The engine is paired to a choice of 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed AMT. Moreover, when driven through the CNG mode it gives out 68kW at 6000rpm and 122Nm at 4000rpm.

The appropriately priced Ertiga offers choices in the form of MT, AMT and even fuel options (petrol and CNG). Despite not being a proper seven-seater it ticks many boxes right. In a nutshell, this time it has only bettered in all the aspects, and with the equipment-list on offer, it won’t be incorrect to say that, despite some price hike, Ertiga continues to offer value for every buck.
