Available only as a hybrid, the new facelift of Lexus ES has been launched in India. The luxury sedan is available at ex-showroom prices starting from Rs 56.65 lakh and Rs 61.85 lakh.
The new facelifted ES is all set to rise against its powerful rivals like the Mercedes-Benz E-class, Audi A6 and the BMW 5 Series.
It comes in two variant models – the Exquisite and the Luxury, with the latter priced around 4 lakh more than the former.
The new 300h has received a few cosmetic changes and high-end equipment.
- New touchscreen infotainment display
- Cabin with new upholstery and trim inserts
Subtle changes in exteriors like the newly designed alloy wheels and new color shades Sonic Chrome and Sonic Iridium, come along with Lexus’ signature spindle grille and tweaked LED headlamps.
The cabin now has a revised console with the infotainment touchscreen display now closer to the occupants. There are new black upholstery and walnut trim inserts.
Luxury comes with a 17-speaker Mark Levinson multimedia audio system, colour heads up display, rain-sensing wipers, and auto open and close power back door with Kick sensor.
A 2.5-litre L4 engine is combined with a compact, lightweight battery and sophisticated control capabilities. Both hybrid sedans are also equipped with power recline rear seats, a sunroof, three-zone climate control, powered front seats with memory, hands-free boot lid opening and more.
