Offering the best of both worlds, with its turbocharged 1.2-liter petrol engine — which is also present in the company’s Polo TSI hatchback — as well as a state-of-the-art, six-speed DSG automatic gear transmission, Vento is a sight to behold. This dynamic combo made Vento an appealing proposition for those who wanted to avail the comfort of automatic and as well as those with an unparalleled passion for driving, in equal measures.

This facilitates maximum output out of the small-capacity, three-cylinder motor. So, when you want to up the pace to keep up with traffic, there is always enough performance on standby to get you roaring.

The 1.2-liter engine may impress you as a lugubrious mule, but it breaks the stereotype that bigger engines are more fun. What adds to the magic is the DSG gearbox’s stellar performance. It’s Calibrated to operate in 3 modes:

D – This mode is for regular driving

S – This is the sports mode that 100% guarantees adrenaline rush, and

M – This mode lets you redline the needle and gives you the ‘fast & furious’ feels
