The highly anticipated Japanese compact SUV, Nissan Magnite is launched in the country at an introductory price of Rs 4.99 lakh, which goes up to Rs 9.35 lakh for the fully-loaded trim (both prices ex showroom, Delhi). With such an aggressive price point, it undercuts all its rivals by a good margin and becomes the most affordable sub-4m SUV in India. The Magnite will be offered in two petrol engine options with one being a turbocharged offering.

Engine Options
Based on the CMF-A+ platform of the Renault Triber, the Nissan Magnite shares its engine options as well with the Renault MPV. It gets a 1.0L petrol engine available with two setups – naturally aspirated and turbocharged. The former generates 72PS of max power and 96Nm of max torque whereas the latter offers 100PS and 160Nm. Both the engines get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard with the turbo-variants getting an option of a CVT transmission.
