Munich Motor Show is all set to start on September 6. Porsche will have a brand-new concept vehicle in its line-up, called a “future-oriented” concept vehicle. Twitter users were treated to a close-up image of a headlight over the weekend. “World premiere of a concept study” was mentioned in the caption, but it did not offer any further details.
What can we expect?
This Porsche is the first to feature LED headlights with a distinctive design. A Porsche headlamp cluster doesn’t have turn signals like the Taycan, but the lower portion has an upper portion similar to the Taycan’s headlights. The concept study implies that this model is a forward-looking, brand-shaping development rather than a close preview of a forthcoming production model.
According to its “future-oriented” description, this concept will probably feature some level of electric power. Taycan is Porsche’s first electric vehicle, and the company is already working on the next-generation electric Macan SUV. Moreover, Porsche is developing a BMW i4-rivaling electric sedan, and a hybrid Boxster is in the works.
The announcement of what Porsche showcases eventually will be interesting, even though not many details are known at the moment.
Porsche dealerships in India
In the coming months, Porsche is set to launch both the recently revealed Macan facelift and the Cayenne GTS in India. An expansion in the company’s dealership network will also be taking place by the end of this year. A new Porsche Taycan, powered by all-electric energy, will arrive on our shores sometime next year.
