Renault Cars in India Price Specs Features

The price of Renault cars in India begins at Rs 4.06 lakh (GST included) for the KWID, the company’s most affordable model. The Duster is the most costly car in Renault’s portfolio, with the highest model costing Rs. 14.25 lakh. In 2005, Renault launched its business in India. The Duster small SUV was the brand’s first successful product. The micro-hatchback Kwid, which delivered an SUV-like style and ground clearance in a small, inexpensive car, was Renault’s next significant hit in India. The French automaker is one of the few mass-market manufacturers in the nation that does not provide a sedan. The Scala and Pulse, which were rebadged versions of Nissan’s Sunny and Micra, were temporarily offered as part of the Renault-Nissan collaboration.

Renault currently sells four models in India, three of which are new. Renault Kiger is a popular SUV and Renault KWID is a popular Hatchback Car. The Zoe, K-ZE, and Arkana are among the next Renault automobiles in India.

Renault KWID

    • Price: Renault’s Kwid is priced between Rs 4.06 lakh and Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
    • Renault Kwid Models: It comes in four different trim levels: RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ.
    • Renault Kwid Engine and Transmission: Renault offers two petrol engines for the Kwid, a 0.8-litre (54PS/72Nm) and a 1-litre (68PS/91Nm). While the former is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission, the latter additionally offers a 5-speed AMT as an option.
    • Renault Kwid has 14-inch black wheels, motorised ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors), and a day/night IRVM on the Kwid Climber (inside rearview mirror).
    • Aside from these features, the Kwid retains an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry, manual air conditioning, and a reversing camera.
    • Renault Kwid safety features include: The Kwid Climber comes with dual front airbags as standard, as well as a pretensioner and load restriction on the driver’s seatbelt. ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors are among the other safety features.

Renault Kiger

The former has a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT option, while the latter has a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed CVT option.
    • Push-button start/stop, LED headlights, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, auto temperature control, and a PM2.5 air filter are among the features onboard the Renault Kiger.
    • Renault Kiger Safety: Up to four airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors are included in the safety package.

Renault Triber

    • Renault Triber pricing ranges from Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 7.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
    • Renault provides the Triber in four different versions: RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ.
    • Seating Capacity: The sub-4m crossover MPV has a seating capacity of seven people.
    • It is powered by a 1-litre petrol engine that produces 72PS and 96Nm and is connected to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. Renault will also offer a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine in the crossover MPV (100PS/160Nm). This vehicle was originally scheduled to debut at the 2020 Auto Show, however, it has since been postponed until 2022. This vehicle will most likely be available with both a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission.
    • Features of the Renault Triber include an 8-inch touchscreen entertainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, steering-mounted audio and phone controls, second and third-row seat AC vents, a digital instrument cluster, and push-button start/stop.
    • Renault Triber Safety: All Renault Triber models come standard with twin front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

Renault Duster

    • The tiny SUV’s price ranges from Rs 9.86 lakh to Rs 14.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
    • Variants: The ordinary Duster comes in two versions (RXS and RXZ), whereas the Duster Turbo comes in three (RXE, RXS, and RXZ).
    • Seating: The Renault Duster has a seating capacity of up to five persons.
    • Engine and Transmission: The Duster comes with two engine options – a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 106PS/142Nm and a 5-speed manual transmission, and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with 156PS/254Nm and a 6-speed manual transmission with an optional 7-step CVT.
    • Features of the Renault Duster include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system, and automatic climate control with rear AC vents. It also has projector headlights with daytime running lights, engine idle-stop/start, and cabin pre-cooling (with the key fob).
    • Renault Duster Safety: Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and front seatbelt reminders are all standard on the Renault Duster.

Renault K-ZE

In China, Renault just unveiled the City-KZE, an electric version of the Kwid. Details are as follows:

    • Launch in India: The Kwid EV will arrive in India in 2022. Renault’s five-year strategy from 2017 to 22 emphasises this.
    • Powertrain: In China, an electric motor on the front axle produces 44PS of maximum power and 125Nm of maximum torque.
    • Battery and Range: The battery pack has a capacity of 26.8kWh and takes 4 hours to completely charge when utilising a 6.6kWh AC power source. The City K-ZE also supports DC rapid charging. They can charge the batteries from 30% to 80% in about half an hour.
    • Renault has included an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard equipment.
    • Renault has equipped the City K-ZE with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It provides 4G WiFi access, online music support. It even provides remote car telemetry, a PM2.5 air quality sensor, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
