iTurbo engine
The major change in the new Altroz is the addition of a turbo-petrol motor. The 1.2-litre turbo revotron engine belts out max power of 110PS and 140Nm of peak torque. You get the standard 5-speed manual transmission of the regular Altroz. However, it continues to miss out the automatic DCT transmission option. The iTurbo gets another ‘Sport’ drive mode.
New colour option
Besides the ‘iTurbo’ tag, the new Altroz also gets a new ‘Harbour Blue’ shade. The exterior and interior styling remains unchanged in the latest avatar.
Features
The new Altroz iTurbo gets a host of features adding to the already feature-loaded Altroz. It gets iRA app connectivity sourced from the Tata Nexon. It now supports 70 Hinglish and Hindi commands apart from the English ones. The application activates 27 other features including door lock/unlock, trip history, remote car immobilization, SOS emergency assistance, headlamp on/off, vehicle crash notification, find my car, geo-fencing, live vehicle diagnostics and several more.
Another significant feature in the Altroz iTurbo is the Xpress cool, which cools the cabin 70 per cent faster than the regular AC. Once you activate the Xpress cool feature, the driver side window opens up, the AC is set to the lowest temperature and the blower to its maximum speed.
Moreover, the Altroz iTurbo gets two additional tweeters incorporated in the JBL speakers along with a tweeter in front of the car.
