The pleasing to eye exterior design, big interior space and long equipment list worked well for the Tata Nexon to become an instant hit among the buyers. The first made-in-India SUV received its mid-life upgrade in 2020 with new design, enhanced petrol drivetrain, and more feature addition. Besides standard fuel options, it’s also offered in an all-electric avatar called the Tata Nexon EV.
Tata Nexon Price
The Nexon SUV is priced between Rs 6.99-12.69 Lakh. The manual petrol variant list starts at Rs 6.99 Lakh and go up to Rs 10.74 Lakh. The diesel manual range falls in the price bracket of Rs 8.44 Lakh and 12.10 Lakh. Moreover, AMT models are tagged between at Rs 8.44 Lakh and 12.69 Lakh, which includes petrol and diesel variants, the electric range, is presented in Rs 13.99-15.99 Lakh. Tata Nexon Engine & Performance
The Nexon petrol is equipped with 1199cc engine that produces 118.3bhp and 170Nm, whereas, the 1497cc diesel engine generates 108.5bhp and 260Nm. Both the engines are mated to either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AMT. Further, the all-electric version Nexon EV with its 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery and electric motor develops 129PS and 245Nm.
Tata Nexon Exterior & Dimension
The outside is now more attractive compared to the earlier model. The grille is refreshing and with sleeker headlamps it reflects Evoque-ness. New design bumper and infused bull-bar and faux scuff plates help Nexon emerge as a full-size SUV. The ceramic piano white highlights at sides and rear go unchanged. Sides remain nearly similar to the previous model, while rear gets NEXON inscribed in chrome, faux vents beneath rear bumper and tail lights feature a fresh design approach. The Nexon measures 3993mm (length), 1811mm (width), 1606mm (height) and a wheelbase of 2498mm.
Tata Nexon Interiors & Features
The cabin remains spacious and comes packed with a plethora of equipment. It gets plush-looking dashboard and free-standing screen in the centre. The Nexon now boasts a flat-bottomed steering, while the instrument cluster now comes with digital LCD panel. The front and rear seats are comfortable and offer enough headroom, legroom and knee room to all. Some of the feature-list highlights include 8-speaker Harman audio, 7-inch touchscreen (Android Auto/Apple CarPlay), digital instrument, TPMS, auto AC with rear vents, cruise control, and others.
