On 4th March 4, 2021 Tata Motors announced the initiation of the new XTA version of its powerful hatchback – the Tata Tiago, at a starting price of INR 5.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The company is strengthening its automated lineup with 4 AMT choices, including an AMT version to the XT variant of the current Tata Tiago. Buyers will now have an array of options to choose from the Tiago range.
Commenting on the debut of the new version, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Head Marketing, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors said, “Fulfilling our new promise of remaining New Forever, we are continuously listening and collecting feedback from the marketplace. The Tiago has obtained enormous market responses from across the country. Moreover, the automatic transmission (AT) segment in India is flourishing and the same has been shown at the revenue of Tiago too. Acknowledging the increasing taste for ATs we are eager to present the XTA variant and are convinced that this new version won’t just provide us a competitive advantage at the mid-hatch section but will also offer customers with available choices to pick from at each price stage.”
Tata Tiago has been successful in its segment and has been valued by all since 2016 when it was launched.
