The Urus Leads Lamborghini India Sales With Over 300 Units Sold

India Gets Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule - Car Jasoos

The Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini recently reached 300 sales in India. The milestone was achieved 15 years after Lamborghini first established operations in Argentina.

Lamborghini first entered India in 2006 when it entered into a partnership with a dealership. They made their official entrance in India in 2012. In 2006 and 2010, Lamborghini sold a very small number of cars. After 2012, however, their sales spiked significantly. In addition, the Urus SUV came out in 2018 and boosted sales numbers so much so that more than one-third of Lamborghini’s sold in India are Urus SUVs now. A Urus was delivered to India earlier this year, marking the company’s 100th unit.

The head of Lamborghini India, Sharad Agarwal, declared himself happy to announce more than 300 Lamborghini cars delivered there. The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder, Urus Pearl Capsule, Urus Graphite Capsule and the Huracán STO were impressive launches this year. Our 100th Urus was delivered to India during the first quarter as well and has established a benchmark for excellence in super-luxury sportscar delivery speed. The achievement is one of the most significant in the super-luxury segment in India and Lamborghini owners are very excited to celebrate the success together. The company just said the journey has been exhilarating and satisfying so far and we look forward to celebrating many more milestones in the years to come.

Lamborghini India:

Despite losing significant sales the previous year due to the pandemic, Lamborghini India’s FY2021 was one of its best years as it doubled its volumes.

The luxury Italian brand recently unveiled two new versions of its Huracán supercar – the Evo RWD Spyder and the hardcore, track-focused STO at Rs 4.99 crore (ex-showroom, pan-India). Additionally, Urus recently introduced a Graphite Capsule Edition to its current line-up.
