Toyota has unveiled the bZ4X, a fully electric SUV from the Japanese carmaker. E-TNGA platform serves as the foundation for the electric SUV. In terms of length, breadth, height, and wheelbase, the new platform is said to give a lot of freedom. The battery will be hidden beneath the floor, allowing for more cabin room and a lower center of gravity. In addition, the bZ4X is the first car in Toyota’s bZ Series of battery electric automobiles. It remains to be seen if the electric SUV will be dubbed the bZ4X when it debuts.
An aggressive fascia with sharp lines is added to the car. Sleek LED headlights and a dynamic big bumper decorate the fascia. The 20-inch alloy wheels and massive wheel arches complement the strong character lines on the sides. The car will include a completely digital instrument cluster, luxurious upholstery, and a current equipment list on the inside.
A 71.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack powers the Toyota bZ4X mechanically. The four-wheel-drive variant features an 80kW motor to power the back wheels in addition to the two-wheel-drive version. The FWD variant sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.4 seconds, while the AWD version takes 7.7 seconds. The electric SUV has a length of 4,690mm, a width of 1,860mm, and a height of 1,650mm in terms of specifications.
The Toyota bZ4X is planned to debut in North America, China, and some European markets in 2022. It is doubtful that the electric variant would be released in India very soon.
