Toyota Kirloskar Motor Sales Increased by 1 Percent in October


Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced a 1 percent increase in domestic sales. In India, 12,440 units were sold in October 2021 as compared to 12,373 units sold in October 2020.
Toyota sold 3,156 units in 2020 September and 9,284 units in 2021 September. It means that 34 percent increase in sales was recorded as compared to last month.

The Innova Crysta is the eyes of Toyota for uplifting the company. Toyota Fortuner also plays a major role in increasing the sales of Toyota. Toyota luxury MPV Vellfire vehicle is also a best seller of Toyota. Sigamani says that Toyota’s SUVs are the major contributors to the company.

“Demand in the market has been vigorous from the last few months. It could attribute to various factors besides demand. Customer orders increasing by constant rise, restoring normalcy in demand trends when compared to pre-Covid times,” said V Wiseline Sigamani, Associate General Manager (Sales and Strategic Marketing) at Toyota Kirloskar Motor.

TKM AGM also said that, In 2021 October, the company saw a growth of 34 percent sales when compared to sales in September 2021. Our overall sales from January to October reported an increment of 78 percent when compared to sales at the same time last year.

Toyota Glanza hatchback and the Urban Cruiser are the two mid-level priced cars that are also getting more bookings we are looking at them too for the customers to hand over as possible.
