On account of the festive season this month, Toyota is essentially giving away free accessory packs to its Innova Crysta GX variants. The Limited Edition announced on Tuesday this week also comes in the form of add-on features available at all the Toyota showrooms. The new variant will be on sale for a limited period of time and will be offered as a complementary package over the regular ex-showroom price.

The Limited Edition add on features are:

  • An air ioniser

These are available with the GX MT and AT variants. Even the top-spec Toyota Innova Crysta does not include a 360-degree camera.

Apart from these, the Toyota Innova Crysta comes with the standard features from the GX trim:

  • LED projector headlamps

  • A cooled glovebox
  • An eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity

2021 Toyota Innova Crysta Limited Edition Prices
Model Petrol Diesel
GX MT 7-seater Rs 17.18 lakh Rs 18.99 lakh
GX MT 8-seater Rs 17.23 lakh Rs 19.04 lakh
GX AT 7-seater Rs 18.54 lakh Rs 20.30 lakh

The exterior design remains similar to the parent model launched last year. The Crysta LE comes sporting a larger trapezoidal grille with a thick chrome surround, a new front bumper with a blacked-out chin, a faux skid plate and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Under the hood

Under the hood, Crysta LE will continue to draw power from the 2.4-litre diesel and 2.7-litre petrol motor. The former develops 150bhp and 360Nm torque while the latter puts out a good 166bhp and 245Nm of peak torque. Both the engines get a five-speed manual and six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

Without any direct competition, Innova Crysta remains a premium alternative to the Mahindra Marazzo, and a more affordable one to the Kia Carnival.
