The second SUV from VW is introduced in a single variant, deliveries will begin mid-April 2020.

The German automaker has launched another SUV in the country in a matter of three days. The Volkswagen T-Roc is unleashed at an introductory price of Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). The five-seater SUV is offered in a single fully-loaded variant which will be shipped as a CBU (Completely Built-up Units).
The T-Roc will sit under the Volkswagen AllSpace and above the upcoming Taigun SUV. Bookings of the T-Roc were on since its showcase at Auto Expo. VW says it has received over 300 orders for the SUV.
Volkswagen T-Roc Engine & Specifications
Powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol TSI engine, the Volkswagen T-Roc produces 150 hp of max power and 250Nm of peak torque. The intelligent engine switches from 4-cylinder to 2 when required for optimum fuel consumption. A proven 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox comes standard with the T-Roc.
The SUV runs from 0-100 kmph in just 8.5 seconds with a top speed of 205 kmph. With the MQB platform underneath, it promises to lend impressive driving dynamics.

The VW T-Roc is a solidly built vehicle and gets elements like broad shoulders, short overhangs, pronounced wheel arches and R17 diamond cut alloy wheels, which lend it an off-road vehicle appearance. Overall, the styling of the T-Roc is clean with no unnecessary embellishments. The dual-tone roof with rails does give it a ready-to-go appeal.

It is offered in five dual-tone shades with a black roof – Indium Grey, Curcuma Yellow, Ravenna Blue, Pure White and Energetic Orange. A single, Deep Black Pearl colour option is also available.

Inside, the cabin feels typical of Volkswagen with a conventional dashboard setup. However, it employs coloured inserts to break the monotony. Even after the adequate front and rear legroom, the T-Roc offers a mammoth 445-litres of boot space.

Being the single fully-loaded trim, the Volkswagen T-Roc gets all the bells and whistles. It gets full-LED headlamps, dual-tone alloy wheels, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, LED tail lamps, dual-zone automatic climate control, Vienna leather seats and 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
