Volkswagen India has included Taigun in its new subscription-based ownership plan. With the addition of Taigun, now the entire VW portfolio is accessible to consumers for multiple vehicle ownership through the subscription plan.
VW had announced its subscription-based models that include Polo, Vento and T-Roc last month. Now Taigun’s Dynamic Line and GT Plus will also be available to customers under this scheme.
Phase 1 of this scheme includes cities namely, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Chennai, where the subscription model will be offered first. Volkswagen plans to increase the number of locations in multiple phases.
These special subscription model vehicles will also carry a white license plate. Taigun will be available on rent, at a rate that is as low as Rs 28,000 per month. This monthly rent for the vehicle will include finance, maintenance and insurance supported by OAIS (ORIX Auto Infrastructure Ltd).
Subscription tenures are available as 24, 36, 48 month periods and can be chosen as per our desire. Post that period, we will have the choice to upgrade or return the car.
On this new subscription model, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said to the press, “With a core objective of being accessible to customers, we, at Volkswagen have worked towards our omnichannel mobility offering. The aim is to provide customers with the choice of their preferred ownership model that suits their lifestyle and comfort.”
Currently, Volkswagen has 30 outlets at the ready across the above-said cities to implement the new scheme.
