Hyundai Aura Engine and Specs
The Hyundai Aura is available in three engine options - 1.2 litre Kappa petrol, 1.2 litre diesel and 1.0 litre T-GDI turbo petrol. The 1.2 litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated Kappa petrol unit can produce maximum power of 82bhp and 113Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual / AMT transmission. These 1.2 litre Kappa trims are also available as an option with factory-fitted CNG. The another 1.2 litre three-cylinder diesel engine of Aura sedan is capable of producing maximum power of 74bhp and 190Nm of peak torque. This diesel engine is also offered with the choices of manual and AMT gearboxes. The third 1.0 litre T-GDI three-cylinder turbo petrol powertrain is the most powerful one of all the available Aura engines. This engine is offered only in the SX Plus trim and is the most expensive trim in the Aura line-up. This engine is able to produce maximum power of 99bhp and 172Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a sole 5-speed manual gearbox.
Hyundai Aura Mileage
Hyundai Aura's 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine returns mileage of 20.5 kmpl (manual transmission variants) and 20.1 kmpl (AMT variants), whereas the 1.2 litre diesel engine delivers the fuel efficiency of 25.35 kmpl (manual transmission trims) and 25.40 kmpl (AMT variants). The 1.0 litre turbo-petrol engine that is offered only with manual gearbox returns mileage of 20.5 kmpl.
